Triathlons fans around the world can put 9:00am CEST on Sunday 29 August in their diary as CHALLENGEFAMILY THECHAMPIONSHIP takes to Facebook Live, broadcasting the battle live between the world’s top athletes for a place on the prestigious podium.
Viewers will watch all the action as it plays out across the men’s and women’s field at the unparalleled x-bionic® sphere in Samorin, Slovakia. Commentary is by Belinda Granger and Dylan McNeice, themselves no strangers to the podium during their triathlon careers.
With over 50 pros athletes on the start line, key contenders in the men’s field include Andreas Dreitz (GER), qualifying with his first place at DATEV CHALLENGEROTH, Frederik Funk (GER), current European Triathlon Middle Distance Champion after his win at CHALLENGEKAISERWINKL-WALCHSEE and Thomas Steger (GER), whose win at CHALLENGERICCIONE secured his place.
The women’s race is equally exciting with Lisa Norden (SWE) a late addition to the start line, qualifying off the back of her third places in CHALLENGEDAYTONA and ANFI CHALLENGEMOGÁN-GRANCANARIA. She joins Sarissa de Vries (NED), who took first in CHALLENGEGDAŃSK, CHALLENGERICCIONE and second at ANFI CHALLENGEMOGÁN-GRANCANARIA, and Lucy Hall (GBR), second at CHALLENGEGDAŃSK.
